Why I love studio sessions

The Gray Lab’s Corvallis studio was the perfect location for this one-year-old milestone session. Here, we were able to get out of the weather, play some music and have the perfect setting for little Brooke to be relaxed and comfortable.

I love milestone sessions! They are especially fun when I’ve photographer other moments in the parents journey such as maternity or newborn photos.

For these sessions, I shoot a ratio of 75% just the baby and 25% have the parents jump in!

These sessions can be as simple or as personalized as you want. If you want just a simple backdrop or to incorporate more props, it is totally up to you! The cute fillable blocks can be found on Amazon! Other ideas to help personalize their session could be a felt letter board, balloons, or a small cake or cupcakes for a cake smash!
